Our Story

Hello! We are Carole and Anita – the founders of Plus One Chaperone. We are colleagues and friends, who together have over 30 years’ experience working in a social care environment.

During this time, we have seen individuals miss out on important family events due to mobility or care issues and recognised a gap in the market for a friendly and supportive chaperone service. This is what led us to establish Plus One Chaperone.

Throughout our careers, we have looked after people of different ages with a variety of needs. We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to attend special events and are committed to protecting the welfare of those in our care.
